Yin yoga is a passive practice involving long holds and the release of the deeper "yin" tissues throughout the body. This can include ligaments, joints, facial tissue, and even our bones. Suitable for all levels, Yin yoga is the perfect compliment to the dynamic and active lifestyle.
Sattva yoga is about balancing body, breath and mind. Throughout the hour we will focus on a number of physical postures (asanas), while maintaining breath and awareness. Suitable for all levels, Sattva yoga is a type of hatha yoga practice which will build strength and stability.
Bliss will have a more restorative take on the Sattva practice, allowing you to soften and really connect with your body in a passive manner through longer holds and mindful breath.
Deepen your practice and explore your inner self. Meditation is a practice in which one can focus and quiet the mind, eventually reaching a higher level of awareness and consciousness.
Yoga Nidra means Yogic Sleep. It is a state of conscious, deep sleep. In Yoga Nidra, you leave the waking state, go past the dreaming state, and go to deep sleep, all while remaining awake. On the most basic level, Yoga Nidra instills a sense of internal peace and leaves you feeling incredibly relaxed, present and rejuvenated.
